There is a preview evening on Friday 26th May

I create freestanding, leaded glass abstract and figurative panels in vibrant colours and textures using traditional techniques. With the abstract pieces I aim to capture the excitement of modern art but use glass rather than paint to form blocks of colour. I also design individual scenes and landscapes using glass of different colours and textures to add dynamism, again aiming to create freestanding pieces of art rather than simply 'window decoration'. Inspiration comes mainly from the glass itself where colours and textures suggest the design. The glass and its reflections form an ever changing tableau; it is this combination of colour and reflection which is so exciting about each piece of work, changing from day to day, season to season and even hour by hour. Integral to the enjoyment of many of the pieces are the hand crafted oak stands and frames, each of which is a bespoke piece of craftwork in its own right. Each piece of my work is unique. Glass as Art.
