Kate is a weaver, spinner and advocate for slow fashion. Based in her studio in Whaley Bridge she creates fabrics inspired by the colours and contours of the Peak District. Kate believes in using local wool, and wherever possible she weaves her own hand spun yarn gathered from local sheep. The fabrics she produces at Wiseheart Studio are intended to be used and worn, creating a link between the traditional crafts of the countryside and modern life.
