MEDIA;  Encaustic Wax, Acrylic and Alcohol inks, Chinese Brush Painting, Glass Painting, Pastels and Inks on OSB (coarse chipboard). Subjects: paintings with a narrative - some fantasy, some surreal & some social comment.. After a year of painting Chinese Dragons in 2015 I discovered encaustic wax with its wonderful 3D quality and tactile surface. This seemed to me the next step in developing my art as I wanted my paintings to break out of their frames. After a lifetime of being trained never to touch a painting, it appeals to me that everyone can now interact with my work and enjoy it with their fingers as much as with their eyes.

I will be exhbiting in the Great Sheffield Art Show and Art in the Gardens in 2017 as well as taking part in Derbyshire Open Arts at the end of May Bank Holiday. I'm looking forward to exhbiting different styles of art, selling prints and cards as well as originals.  My teenage novel, Firestone, will be on sale for the first time.

I teach workshops on glass painting, Chinese Brush for beginners, and how to enjoy making mini murals on OSB,
