Liz is a versatile and experienced fine artist. Following the completion of a Fine Arts degree in 1990 and subsequent post graduate studies, she returned to the Derbyshire Dales, where for over 25 years she has worked as an artist in residence, teacher and maker.

Living and working in Derbyshire is important to Liz, providing a significant visual resource for her work. The themes of home, countryside and the domestic environment can be seen in her drawings, print work and sculpture.

 Liz began a residency at Scarthin Books, Cromford in 2016, where she continues to make regular visits to the bookshop. She can be found with her iPad in hand developing a range of digital images based upon the many rooms and is currently creating a series of staff portraits.

Cards and framed outcomes are available to buy from Scarthin Books and Cromford Studio and Gallery. The images are also to be found on the Scarthin Books website and Liz shares the images she creates via Facebook.

She has been a member of the highly considered Peak District Artisans for a number of years. Liz regularly exhibits with group, including exhibitions at The Dome, Buxton and 'Art Out Loud' at Chatsworth.

From the A6 at the traffic lights at Cromford turn into the village. Parking is available in various locations. Walk up The Promenade to Scarthin Books. Refreshments are available at the venue in the shop cafe.
